METRO REFEREE FITNESS TRAININGS


Every Wednesday and Monday evenings we run our referees fitness sessions. These are open to referees (and non referees) of all levels of fitness to improve their health and capabilities for on the field.

We always make sure to include some work and play elements to every session and no one’s ever regretted turning up!

This year we have Ed Lea who is the head of strength & conditioning at Otago Rugby helping design an S & C program for a dedicated small group. This will focus on increasing our referees aerobic capacity and a glimpse into a high performance environment for those that want to further their refereeing journey.
