It's the second round of preseason fixtures this weekend for both our NPC and FPC teams. The men kicked off against Canterbury today at 2.05pm and the ladies kick off tomorrow 12.30pm against Canterbury at Manchester Park in Waimate! Keen for some more rugby action? Spirit Development, Otago Country, Sassenachs and Metro development are all playing this weekend, more details below. Head to Tahuna Park tomorrow for the last Senior club rugby games of the 2024 season. At 12:45pm the Dunedin Hammerheads take on the Harbour Hawks in the Championship Colts final, before the Dunedin Makos play the Kaikorai Devils in the Premier Colts final, in a rematch of last year’s final at 2:45pm. Harbour Hawks hosted the 2024 Metro Club Rugby Awards on Wednesday night with some well deserved recognition for a bunch of quality players. Southern Champions, Clutha Valley hosted Central Champions, the Upper Clutha Rams in Clydevale for the Country Wide Final last Saturday! A massive congratulations to the Rams who took the win with a final score of 29-13. |

2024 Otago Country U16 Wider Squad |

Congratulations to the above players who have been selected for the Otago Country U16 Boys Wider Squad for 2024! Selected players are to attend two preseason sessions: Dates: Sunday 4th August and Sunday 18th August Time: 11:45am Location: Alexandra RFC If any players are unable to attend, please contact Head Coach AJ Aitken at 027 279 4859. Following these sessions, Otago Country will name the U16 Boys squad to play in the South Island U16 Tournament. |

2024 Year 8 Festival |

The Year 8 festival for 2024 took place last weekend with 150 kids from around the Province turning out to showcase their talent! A massive thank you Clutha Junior Rugby for hosting us. It was an epic day, and it was great to see the kids getting to meet the guys and gals from our FPC and NPC squads! See you all next year!!! |
