What an incredible day last Saturday celebrating Country Rugby! The Otago Country Board would like to thank the players, coaches, managers, referees, medics, and volunteers for making this year’s Country Day so special. A big shoutout as well to the Toko Rugby Football Club for hosting an exceptional day. The crowds were treated to a great lineup of curtain raisers before the main event. Congratulations to the Southern Region Premier team on winning the Topp Cup, a traditional fixture against Central dating back to 1913! Thank you to Property Brokers and our team of sponsors and supporters for their incredible support.

Otago Rugby is excited to announce that the Metro Rippa Rugby Day will be on again this year! SAVE THE DATE: WEDNESDAY 28 AUGUST Postponement day: Friday 30th August. More details below.

We are calling for nominations for Otago Community Rugby's Volunteer of the Month for June sponsored by Cobb & Co. Dunedin. Send us a direct message on our Facebook page with a nominee's name, photo and why they should be acknowledged! We will narrow it down to 4 nominees and then the winner will be voted on by the public on our Facebook page and score themselves a meal voucher from Cobb & Co Dunedin. Nominations close 12pm Friday 21st June.

Your staunch persona, leadership and wisdom will be greatly missed around the Otago camp this year. All the best for your next endeavour, we hope to hear your voice from the stands in seasons to come. Good on ya mate

After a weekend off for the Topp Cup, Club Rugby returns to the playing fields of Otago this weekend! That means the two @Speight's Jugs are up for grabs!

In the Southern Region West Taieri Rugby Club put the Jug on the line for the first time when they travel to Heriot to play Heriot Rugby Club kick off 3:00pm

In the Central Region,, after returning from their raiding trip to Wanaka with the silverware, Wakatipu Rugby Club welcome @Arrowtown Rugby Club to the Rec Ground, kick off 2:30pm.

Good luck to all the teams and a massive thank you to all the coaches and managers who operate in the shadows making sure that the teams get on the field each week, Good On Ya Mates.
